This class introduces students to acting for the stage through scene study and monologue preparation. It is designed for the beginning / amateur adult actor, and will focus on the fundamentals of the craft. The class highlights methods to make your performance more natural and spontaneous. No experience is necessary. A great start for the beginning actor!

Instructor Bio: Daniel Eilola:

Daniel Eilola is a local actor and director who received his training at Towson University where he studied under Tony Award winning actor Jon Glover. Daniel has appeared in commercials and on stages throughout the northeast. Recently, Daniel has appeared in many productions on the Lake Worth Playhouse stage including: The Unexpected Guest, Almost Maine, The 1940’s Radio Hour, The Foreigner, One Flew Over the Cuckoo’s Nest and Arsenic and Old Lace. He also has directed six productions at the Playhouse including Riverside Drive and Central Park West by Woody Allen, 4000 MILES by Amy Herzog, Search and Destroy by Howard Korder, The Odd Couple by Neil Simon, Arsenic and Old Lace by Joseph Kesselring and Circle Mirror Transformation by Annie Baker.
